Steps to make a foam board model:
Preparation Materials & Tools :
Material : Choose foam boards of different thicknesses and sizes depending on the size of the tiny house you want to make. Other materials include colored paper, paints, stickers, etc., for decoration and detailing
Tools: ruler, pencil, utility knife or special foam cutting tool, template (optional), scissors, glue, etc.
Design & Planning :
Based on the sketch of the envisioned design, draw the outline of each part on the foam board, such as walls, roofs, doors and windows, etc. In the case of exact modeling, it may be necessary to calculate and mark the specific dimensions of each part to scale.
Cutting foam board :
Carefully and steadily cut the foam board along the lines you have drawn, making sure the incision is straight and accurate. For complex shapes or smaller parts, a template can be used to assist in cutting.
Assembling Components :
The cut foam board parts are combined according to the design, and glue is used to glue them together to form the basic structure of the house. Make sure the parts are aligned and firmly bonded.
Decoration & Detailing :
You can add color to the exterior of a foam house, and you can simulate the look and feel of a real house by painting or pasting colored paper. Drying & Presentation :
